"For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, and he said, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you...'
Paul answered, "Whether it takes a short time or a long time, I wish you and everyone else who hears me today would become just like me! Except, of course, for these chains."
Then Festus, when he had conferred with his council, answered, "To Caesar you have appealed; to Caesar you shall go."
"Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome."
And he said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.'

And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
"Keep away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them."
"This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
